Our Story
We started from a simple observation: disabled makers create extraordinary work, and most marketplaces weren't built with them — or their customers — in mind. We're building a place that's genuinely usable, and where disability is never the headline unless a maker chooses to make it one.
Every maker on this platform sets their own story. Some talk openly about how disability shapes their process. Others would rather you just look at the work. Both are exactly right.
Our accessibility commitment
This is a first iteration, and accessibility is never really "finished" — but here's what's built in today:
Keyboard navigation
Every interactive element can be reached and operated using only a keyboard, with a visible focus outline at all times.
Screen reader support
Semantic HTML, landmarks, and descriptive alt text and labels throughout, so the site makes sense read aloud, not just seen.
Adjustable text size
Use the accessibility button in the corner of any page to scale text up to 150% without breaking the layout.
High contrast mode
A high-contrast color theme is available for anyone who finds the default palette hard to read.
Reduced motion
Animations and transitions can be turned off, and we also respect your operating system's reduce-motion setting automatically.
Plain language
We write in clear, direct language and avoid unnecessary jargon across the site.
